Asia Redmond, a proud Texas native was born July 4th, 1989 and attended high school in Dallas, Texas. After completing high school she felt an obligation to serve the nation by joining the United States Army. She enlisted in 2007 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Leoarndwood Missouri shortly thereafter she was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina where she assumed duties as a Military Policeman, D.A.R.E Officer, and a General Crimes Investigator. Prior to the end of her military contract she requested to be deployed and was sent to Djibouti, Africa. During Asia’s five years of military service she has earned several prestigious awards including The Army Commendation Medal. In addition to an already strenuous military schedule Asia found the time and energy to earn an associates degree in General Studies from Central Texas College.

 

Now a full-time student at Fayetteville State University she studies Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare management. She participates in several extracurricular activities and is the current president of Phi Beta Lambda. She also maintains a 3.6 grade point average and she has been inducted into several exclusive organizations such as, National Society of Leadership and Success and National Council of Negro Women. Her interest lies between law enforcement and the healthcare field.
